Cycling For Humanity Empowers Girls’ Futures at Unique Home Orphanage in India
March 2024 – Punjab, India: Cycling for Humanity, a globally recognised cycling charity known for championing humanitarian causes, made a significant impact during their visit to the Unique Home orphanage. This institution, located in Punjab, provides refuge and care to abandoned and disowned girls, striving for their moral, social, cultural, and economic uplift, irrespective of caste, creed, or religion.
The team from Cycling for Humanity engaged in a heartfelt discussion with the orphanage's chairperson, Bibi Parkash Kaur Ji, who has been a driving force in nurturing these young lives. During their meeting, Bibi Parkash Kaur highlighted a pressing need to bolster the educational opportunities available to the girls. She emphasised the importance of not just enrolling the children in schools but also equipping them with the necessary tools and support systems to excel academically and build a brighter future.
Moved by this mission, Cycling for Humanity announced the sponsorship of the education of 10 girls from the orphanage. The sponsorship covers all aspects of their schooling, including tuition fees, textbooks, uniforms, and transportation. This generous support is set to empower these girls to pursue their dreams, breaking cycles of abandonment and hardship.

Cycling for Humanity Brings Holiday Cheer to Children Battling Cancer
Birmingham, UK – This Christmas, the charity group Cycling for Humanity delivered joy, hope, and presents to 32 children battling cancer at the Birmingham Children’s Hospital oncology ward. The initiative aimed to brighten the festive season for young patients, ranging in age from just 5 months old to teenagers.
The volunteers, known for their dedication to spreading kindness through cycling, pedaled their way to the hospital with a mission to bring smiles to young faces. Each gift was thoughtfully chosen to suit the different age groups, ensuring that every child felt the warmth of holiday cheer.
George from Cycling for Humanity shared, “Our goal is to show these children and their families that they are not alone. The holidays can be a challenging time, and if we can bring even a moment of happiness, it’s all worth it.”
The oncology ward staff expressed heartfelt gratitude, acknowledging the positive impact of the gesture. One nurse noted, “Seeing the children light up when they opened their presents was truly magical. It reminds us all of the importance of hope and kindness.”
Kathy from the Hospitals fundraising team shared, “Thank you so much to everyone at Cycling For Humanity for their wonderful donation of brand new toys for our patients on the Oncology Wards, which we received on 23rd December. The gifts in such beautiful Christmas gift bags looked absolutely gorgeous, and I have no doubt this donation will have brought huge smiles to the faces of our patients.”
For the children, the presents were a symbol of more than just material gifts; they represented community support and love during a time of uncertainty.
