Pay a registration fee of £475 today (this can be spread using the Paypal pay later option) then a minimum of £1,000 via your justgiving page approx 4 weeks before departure.

I have watched the videos and read the health & safety rules which I will follow during the participation of this bike ride.

Cycling For Humanity Charity Bike Ride – Terms & Conditions and Waiver

Acknowledgement of Risk

1. I acknowledge that participating in cycling events, including the Amsterdam to Birmingham Charity Bike Ride (“the Event”), involves significant risks, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, disability, death, property damage, and theft.

2. I voluntarily assume all such risks, whether foreseeable or not, and understand that they may arise from my actions, the actions of others, road or traffic conditions, weather, equipment failure, or other circumstances connected with the Event.

3. I confirm that I am physically and mentally fit to participate and that it is my sole responsibility to ensure my readiness, including ensuring that my bicycle and equipment are roadworthy and safe.


Safety and Conduct

4. I agree to follow all Event rules, road traffic laws, and instructions given by Cycling For Humanity representatives or Event officials.

5. I will remove myself from the Event if I observe or feel any unsafe condition or if I am unable to continue safely for any reason.


Waiver, Release and Indemnity

6. In consideration of my participation in the Event, I hereby waive, release, and forever discharge Cycling For Humanity, its trustees, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, sponsors, event partners, and affiliates (collectively the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, actions, liabilities, losses, damages, or expenses (including legal costs), whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or otherwise, that I may suffer or incur as a result of my participation in the Event.

7. This release includes, without limitation, all claims relating to personal injury, illness, death, theft, or loss or damage to property (including bicycles and personal belongings), whether caused by the negligence of any of the Released Parties or otherwise, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of or in connection with my participation in the Event or any breach of these Terms and Conditions.


No Liability

9. Cycling For Humanity accepts no liability or responsibility for:

  • Any accident, injury, illness, or death occurring before, during, or after the Event;
  • Any loss, theft, or damage to bicycles, equipment, or personal property;
  • Any act, omission, or negligence of other participants, members of the public, or third parties.

10. I understand that participation in the Event is entirely at my own risk.


Media Release

11. I grant Cycling For Humanity permission to photograph, film, or record me during the Event and to use my name, image, and likeness in any media worldwide, in perpetuity, without payment or further approval.


Fees and Refunds

12. I understand that the registration fee is non-refundable, including in cases of withdrawal, cancellation, or disqualification.


Assumption of Risk

13. By registering for this Event, I fully accept and assume all risks associated with participation, including the risks of injury, death, property damage, and theft.


Acceptance of Terms

14. By clicking “Submit” or “Pay” to complete my registration, I acknowledge that:

  • I have read and understood all of the above Terms and Conditions;
  • I accept and agree to be bound by them in full;
  • I understand that by completing registration, I am waiving substantial legal rights, including the right to sue Cycling For Humanity or any associated party; and
  • I am entering this agreement freely and voluntarily.


Disclaimer

By completing your registration and payment for the Cycling For Humanity Charity Bike Ride, you agree that participation is at your own risk. Cycling For Humanity shall not be liable for any loss, injury, death, damage, or theft, however caused, except to the extent that liability cannot be excluded by law.

We will require an API Form to be completed.  Please send us a copy of your passport after registration.

Pre-Ride

Do you require cycle and passenger transportation to the start point in Amsterdam?  Bike drop time & date to be confirmed.

I require transportation for both rider and cycle to Amsterdam.

Additional Jersey’s *

Your rider pack includes one cycling jersey, but we highly recommend adding extra jerseys to stay fresh and comfortable each day. Additional jerseys are available for just £30 each

Full Payment Option (non fundraising)

Pay a registration fee of £475 today (this can be spread using the Paypal pay later option), then £1000 via bank transfer 4 weeks before departure.  Failure to complete payment will result in the forfeiture of your participation in the event.  Registration fee is non-refundable.
